New Higgs Working Group (NHWG) — roughly quarterly (43rd meeting in June 2026) (since 2012)
Nationwide study group discussing Higgs physics and beyond-the-Standard-Model physics, founded in 2012 by volunteer researchers across Japan after the discovery of the Higgs boson. The international workshop series HPNP (Higgs as a Probe of New Physics) is one of its highlights.

Summer Institute on Phenomenology of Elementary Particles and Cosmology (SI) — annual (rotating among Japan/Korea/Taiwan/China, 30th edition in 2026) (since 1996)
Annual summer institute on phenomenology of elementary particles and cosmology, started in Japan in 1996 and rotated among Asian countries. Designed to foster informal discussion and new collaborations beyond pedagogical lectures.

Workshop on Wave Packets and Quantum Foundations (WPQF) — irregular (1st edition in 2026) (since 2026)
Small workshop devoted to foundational issues in quantum mechanics, viewed through wave-packet descriptions, scattering theory, measurement theory, and quantum information. Designed to bring together researchers from different generations and areas of expertise to identify points of contact for future collaborations.
