In this seminar, I will discuss the possibility of probing new physics beyond the Standard Model through temperature observations of neutron stars. The time evolution of the surface temperature of isolated neutron stars is generally explained by the standard cooling theory. However, if unknown particles such as axions or dark matter exist, they may affect the cooling and heating processes. By comparing observations with theoretical predictions, I will discuss the possibility of searching for signatures of such new particles.
