Quantum Teleportation on Trapped Ions — From Basics to Recent Research

The first half introduces fundamentals of quantum computation, aimed at understanding how quantum-teleportation circuits operate. The second half introduces recent work using quantum computers [1]: in particular, an experimental realization on a quantum computer of the Hayden–Preskill thought experiment, which applies the principle of quantum teleportation, and a discussion of the outlook toward larger-scale quantum computation in the future.
