Lμ−Lτ Symmetry
This talk presents the Lμ−Lτ symmetry as a theoretical framework for phenomena that the Standard Model cannot explain. The Standard Model is a well-tested description of almost all terrestrial particle-physics experiments, yet several mysteries remain — including neutrino masses, the muon anomalous magnetic moment, the spectrum of cosmic neutrinos observed by IceCube, and the Hubble tension. I describe an extension of the Standard Model equipped with Lμ−Lτ symmetry as a framework that can address all of these simultaneously.
