SUSY phenomenology in CP-violating charm physics

Hints of new physics arose in the 2019 LHCb measurement of CP asymmetry in charm meson decays, with an order of magnitude enhancement with respect to perturbative Standard Model predictions. The 2023 LHCb update showed further tension with U-spin breaking at an excess of 1.9σ. We investigate whether the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) can accommodate the observed results while maintaining consistency with other flavor observables.
